“Defining Moments” is a comedy-drama film which follows eight strangers facing life-changing events, such as a woman who reconnects with her aging father, a man who must decide whether or not to break up with his girl friend, and a daughter discovering her dad’s Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis. Director-screenwriter Stephen Wallis constructed an engrossing movie with excellent character development and a good blend of dramatic and comedic elements.
The ensemble cast includes Burt Reynolds, Graham Greene, Sienna Guillory, Tammy Blanchard, Shawn Roberts, Polly Shannon, Andy McQueen, Nicholas Campbell, and Dillon Casey. This was Burt Reynolds’ final motion picture role. His movie career began back in 1961 in “Angel Baby” with co-stars George Hamilton, Mercedes McCambridge, and Joan Blondell. Reynolds passed away in 2018.
