My Review

Porky Pig and Daffy Duck become the Earth’s only hope when they uncover a secret alien mind-control plot at a local bubble-gum factory in “The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.” This feature film debut for Porky and Daffy was well directed by Peter Browngardt, also in his first motion picture directorial project. The script was written by Browngardt and ten other screenwriters!

The voice cast includes Eric Bauza as Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, Cani Milo as Petunia Pig, Peter MacNichol as The Invader, Laraine Newman, Wayne Knight, Fred Tatasciore, Andrew Kishino, Kimberly Brooks, Keith Ferguson, Carlos Alazraqui, Raquel Butera, Ruth Clampett, Nick Simotas, and Peter Browngardt (the director) as Roofer Joe. The watchable salute to the Looney Tunes franchise, “The Day the Earth Blew Up,” had limited release in theaters in 2024 for Warner Bros. Animation, Ketchup Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Pictures.
