“Day of Reckoning” is a modern-day western action film about a county sheriff and a U. S. Marshall who team up to capture a dangerous criminal by holding his trouble-making wife captive. Director Shawn Silva created quite an engrossing action movie that has few show moments. Though not Shakespeare, the excellent screenplay was written by Travis J. Opgenorth.
The stars of the show include Billy Zane, Zach Roerig, Scott Adkins, and Cara Jade Myers. The watchable “Day of Reckoning” was released directly to digital streaming by ESX Entertainment, Lila Lane Pictures, Tackle Box Films, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. It was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.
