Anaconda (2025)

My Review

“Anaconda” is a comedy action movie about two childhood friends who travel to Brazil’s Amazon rainforest to remake the favorite film of their youth – “Anaconda” (1997). Director Tim Gormican has made this sixth in the film series a bit formulaic and predictable, but also very funny and entertaining. He co-wrote the screenplay with Kevin Etten.

The cast includes Jack Black, Paul Rudd, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, Selton Mello, Ice Cube, and Jennifer Lopez. The watchable “Anaconda” has been successful at the box office for Columbia Pictures, Fully Formed Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Releasing. The previous in the series were released in 1997, 2004, 2008, 2009, and 2015. It was filmed in Queensland, Australia.
