For All Time (2000)

My Review

“For All Time” is a science fiction story about a businessman who finds an antique watch which allows him to travel back in time to 1896 via a train. He falls in love with a woman there, and must decide whether to stay in the 19th Century or go back to the year 2000. Director Steven Schachter put together an intriguing drama from a good teleplay by Vivienne Radkoff.

This made-for-television movie is based on, and a faithful adaptation of, a 1960 episode of “The Twilight Zone” written by Rod Serling, called “A Stop at Willoughby.” The stars of the show are Mark Harmon, Mary McDonnell, Catherine Hicks, Bill Hobbs, Philip Casnoff, Brittany Tiplady, and Ed Evanko. It was aired on CBS television in October, 2000. The show was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
