Apex (2021)

My Review

Bruce Willis stars as an ex-policeman serving a life sentence for a crime he did not commit in the futuristic science fiction action film “Apex.” This movie is just plain awful, horribly produced, directed, and written by Edward John Drake (“Breach” 2020). The screenplay is poorly written, and the flow of the film is best described as disjointed. Willis has a habit in recent years of appearing in disasters like this one and “Breach,” where he also worked with Drake.

The co-stars in this independent film include Neal McDonough, Corey William Large, Lochlyn Munro, Alexia Fast, and Trevor Gretzky, son of hockey great Wayne Gretzky. Do not sentence yourself to do hard time for two hours watching “Apex,” a box office bomb in theatrical release.
