My Review

“Ocean’s Thirteen” is a comedy heist movie where Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and his friends seek revenge on Willy Bank (Al Pacino) after he double-crosses old friend Reuben Tishkoff (Elliot Gould). Director Steven Soderbergh (“Traffic” 2000) retains the quality of the first two films, “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001) and “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004), which he also directed. The screenplay was written by Brain Koppleman and David Levien.

The stars are George Clooney, Al Pacino, Elliot Gould, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Ellen Barkin, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Carl Reiner, Shaobo Qin, David Paymer, and Bernie Mac. The watchable “Ocean’s Thirteen” was a big hit at the box office for Village Roadshow Pictures, Jerry Weintraub Productions, Section Eight Productions, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada, and at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. The next film is “Ocean’s Eight” (2018) starring Sandra Bullock.
