Alice, Darling (2022)

My Review

Anna Kendrick stars in the psychological thriller “Alice, Darling” as a young woman who realizes she must end her relationship with her abusive boy friend while she is on holiday with two friends. First time director Mary Nighy did quite a job slowly pealing away the psychological layers as the film progresses. The excellent screenplay was written by Alanna Francis.

The cast includes Anna Kendrick, Kaniehtilo Horn, Charlie Carrick, Wunmi Mosaku, Mark Winnick, and Carolyn Fe. The watchable “Alice, Darling” was not successful in theatrical release Evolution Pictures, Ontario Creates, and Lionsgate Films. It was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
