Show business legend Pat Boone continues to stay active in motion pictures with a new movie called “The Mulligan.” (His first film was in 1955.) This faith-based project from director Michael O. Sajbel (“One Night with the King” 2006) tells the story of a man with career and family problems who needs a second chance in life. He gets advise on the golf course from an “old pro” (Boone) who tells him that God can give him a mulligan, which in golf is an extra stroke allowed after a poor stroke, not recorded in the scoring. The result is inspirational movie viewing.
The cast includes Pat Boone, Eric Close, Nancy Stafford, Debra Stipe, Gary Weeks, Tanya Christiansen, Jason Burkey, Charmin Lee, Andrew Brodeur, and Pastor Jentezen Franklin as himself. The watchable “The Mulligan” was a production of ReelWorks Studios and Liberty University. It was filmed in Toccoa, Georgia.
