My Review

“The Perfect Stranger” is a faith-based film telling the story of a skeptical woman attorney who receives a mysterious dinner invitation from a man claiming to be Jesus Christ. Throughout the long dinner conversation, she begins to move from disbelief to questioning her life, vocation, and spiritual beliefs. Director-screenwriter Jefferson Moore created an engrossing film which is intellectually challenging with good production values and high quality writing. It was adapted from the 2005 novel “Dinner with a Perfect Stranger” by David Gregory.

The cast includes Pamela Brumley as the attorney, Jefferson Moore as the Stranger at dinner, Tom Luce as Eduardo, and Dennis Martin and Stella Davis as Pam’s parents. The watchable “The Perfect Stranger” is a production of Kelly’s Filmworks. Two sequels include “Another Perfect Stranger” (2007) and “Nikki and the Perfect Stranger” (2013). It was filmed in Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana.
