“The Invisible Man” is a science fiction horror film about a young woman who believes she may be being stalked by her abusive ex-boyfriend after he acquires the ability to become invisible, even after he stages his own suicide. Director-screenwriter Leigh Whannell kept the audience on the edge of their collective seats with tight direction, great writing, and unbelievable performances. The 124 minute running time just flew by.
Elizabeth Moss is at the head of the cast as architect Cecilia Kass, a victim of an abusive relationship. Co-stars include Aldis Hodge as the police detective, Storm Reid as her teenage daughter, Oliver Jackson-Cohen as the invisible Adrian Griffin, Harriet Dyer as her sister, and Michael Dorman as the lawyer and Adrian’s older brother. The watchable “The Invisible Man” was very popular in theatrical release for Blumhouse Productions, Goalpost Pictures, Nervous Tick Productions, and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in Sydney, Australia.
