To Catch a Spy (2021)

My Review

“To Catch a Spy” is a crime drama film about a travel writer and her staff visiting the island nation of Malta to report on the tourist scene there. When she witnesses someone fall to their death, she teams up with an FBI agent, who also happens to be in Malta, to catch the killer before they become the next victims. Director Jeff Beesley put together a taut crime drama thriller from a well written screenplay by Rick Garman.

The cast includes Nathalie Kelley, Colin Donnell, Patti Murin, Davy Eduard King, Jonathan Dunn, Becky Camiller, Antonella Axisa, Edward Thorpe, Joe Azzopardi, and Michelle Martin as the U. S. Ambassador to Malta. The watchable “To Catch a Spy” is a made-for-television movie from the Hallmark Channel and producer Colin Azzopardi. The cinematography by Russ Goozee deserves honorable mention due to the excellent filming in and around the beautiful scenery of Malta.
