“Jerry & Marge Go Large” is a silly and convoluted comedy film where a retired couple try to figure out ways to win the lottery. Director David Frankel (“Marley & Me” 2008) and screenwriter Brad Copeland sloppily put together this picture that seems like torture to endure the film’s 96 minute duration. Besides a confusing storyline about ways to win a lottery, there is an obnoxious narrator that gives us every little detail from start to finish.
The talented cast, wasted on this movie, includes Bryan Cranston, Annette Benning, Rainn Wilson, Larry Wilmore, Michael McKean, Ann Harada, Jake McDorman, Anna Camp, Tracie Thomas, and Tori Kelly. The losers “Jerry & Marge Go Large” was released on the streaming Paramount+ network.
