Crooked House (2017)

My Review

Agatha Christie’s 1949 novel “Crooked House” was made into a watchable motion picture starring Glenn Close as a senior member of a dysfunctional wealthy family in England. Director Gilles Paquet-Brenner, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Julian Fellowes and Tim Rose Price, kept Christie’s high drama from the book all the while managing a large cast of actors.

Glenn Close’s co-stars include Terence Stamp, Gillian Anderson, Max Irons (son of Jeremy Irons), Julian Sands, Stephanie Martini, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Honor Kneafsey, Christina McKay, Christina Hendricks, Preston Nyman, and Jenny Galloway as the nanny. “Crooked House” does not disappoint mystery fans, worthy to be viewed at your house. It was a box office success for Brilliant Films, Metro International Entertainment, and Fred Films.
