My Review

“My Christmas Family Tree” tells the interesting story of a 31-year-old woman who receives the results of her DNA test, revealing the identity of her biological father. She ends up spending Christmas with him and his family, with the drama proceeding from there. Director Jason Bourque put together a tightly directed family drama in the same vein as the long line of Hallmark holiday films, from a lucid screenplay penned by Mark Hefti.

The cast includes Aimee Teegarden, Andrew W. Walker, James Tupper, Kendall Cross, Ava Marie Telek, Colby McClendon, and Lisa Paxton. The watchable “My Christmas Family Tree” was aired on November 13, 2021, on the Hallmark Channel. It was produced by Spirit Roads and Front Street Pictures, and filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
