Samson (2018)

My Review

“Samson” is a Biblical drama film about the judge of Israel who fights the Philistine army, has romantic troubles with Delilah, and get involved in numerous sticky situations. Director Bruce Macdonald transformed this story of Samson in the Old Testament book of Judges into an action-adventure movie with good production values and memorable performances.

The cast includes Taylor James as Samson, Lindsay Wagner and Rutger Hauer as Samson’s parents, Caitlin Leahy as Delilah, Billy Zane as King of the Philistines, and Jackson Rathbone as prince of the Philistines. “Samson” was a box office bomb for Pure Flix Entertainment and Boomtown Films. It was filmed in South Africa.
