In Like Flynn (2018)

My Review

“In Like Flynn” tells the true story of the early life of Errol Flynn before his movie star years. The fast-moving film follows Flynn’s adventures in Papua New Guinea and in the outback of Australia. Down Under director Russell Mulcahy did a marvelous job of pacing the film, and got a great performance out of Thomas Cocquerel as Flynn. The film would have flopped without Cocquerel being at the top of his game in the title role. (By the way, the movie was indeed a financial flop!)

The supporting cast includes Corey Large, William Moseley, Clive Standen, Costas Mandylor, Lochlyn Munro, Dan Folger, and Ashlee Lollback as Olivia de Havilland. The watchable “In Like Flynn” was a massive box office bomb for Blue Fox Entertainment and Umbrella Entertainment. It was filmed in Queensland, Australia.
