“The Hurricane Heist” is a disaster-heist film about a U. S. mint being robbed during a Category 5 hurricane. Director Rob Cohen and screenwriters Jeff Dixon and Scott Windhauser have a huge motion picture disaster on their hands with sloppy directing, terrible writing, and bad acting which makes for cataclysmic viewing throughout the entire 103 minute running time.
The cast includes Ben Cross, Maggie Grace, Toby Kendall, Ryan Kwanten, Melissa Bolona, and Ralph Ineson as a corrupt Treasury agent. The unwatchable “Hurricane Heist” was a box office failure for Foresight Unlimited and Lionsgate Films. It was filmed entirely in Bulgaria.
