My Review

“The Addams Family” is a computer-animated version of the live-action classic comedy television and movie series. The story behind this film deals with a reality television star who is building a perfect planned community near the Addams house and wants them to update their home to conform to the new neighborhood standards. The comedy and drama proceed from there, well directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon, from the screenplay by Matt Lieberman.

The voice cast includes Oscar Isaac (Gomez), Charlize Theron (Mortica), Chloe Grace Moretz (Wednesday), Finn Wolfhard (Pugsley), Nick Kroll (Uncle Fester), Snoop Dog (Cousin Itt), Bette Midler (Grandmama), Allison Janney (Margaux), Conrad Vernon (Lurch), and Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara (Grandpa and Grandma Frump, Mortica’s parents). “The Addams Family” was a big hit at the box office for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and United Artists Releasing.
