Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

My Review

Though Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are listed at the top of the credits of “Hobbs & Shaw,” the real star of the show is the non-stop action, adventure, car chase scenes, etc. We would expect nothing less from director David Leitch, who was also at the helm of another fun epic called “Atomic Blonde” (2017). Kudos to Leitch and screenwriters Chris Morgan and Drew Pearce for this watchable motion picture.

Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham deliver their patented charisma, with help from a talented supporting cast which includes Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Cliff Curtis, Helen Mirren, Eddie Marsan, Rob Delaney, Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Hart, Joe Anoai, and Eiza Gonzalez. “Hobbs & Shaw” is a spin-off from the “Fast and Furious” movie franchise, and was a huge box office blockbuster for Seven Buck Productions, Chris Morgan Productions, and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in England, Scotland, and Kawaii, Hawaii.
