“Behind Green Lights” is a film noir crime drama about a police investigation into the murder of a man whose dead body was brazenly left in a car in front of a police station. The big mystery must be unraveled from there, capably directed by Otto Brower. The passable screenplay was written by Charles G. Booth and Scott Darling.
The cast includes Carole Landis, William Gargan, Mary Anderson, John Ireland, Roy Roberts, Charles Russell, and Mabel Paige. “Behind Green Lights” was modestly successful as the second film in double features for 20th Century Fox. It is a fun movie to watch on streaming or DVD here in the 21st century.
