Strange Weather (2016)

My Review

Holly Hunter plays a woman out for revenge against her late son’s best friend when she discovers the guy stole his business plan for a hot dog restaurant chain and became wealthy off of it in “Strange Weather.” The heavy drama proceeds from there, well directed and written by Katherine Dieckmann (“Diggers” 2006).

Co-stars include Carrie Coon, Kim Coates, Glenne Headly, Ransom Ashley, and Emily Peachey as the Dawg House receptionist. “Strange Weather” was a production of Great Point Media, iDeal Partners Film Fund, and Kalamalka Productions Ltd. and had limited theatrical release before streaming on the Netflix video on demand channel.
