All I See Is You (2016)

My Review

“All I See Is You” is a drama film about a blind woman who receives her sight through a successful operation, only to run into trouble with her husband, who had grown used to her dependency on him. The film is mostly annoying and boring; it is a victim of bad writing and mediocre acting.

Blake Lively turns in a lackluster performance in the lead role, probably partly due to unfocused direction by Marc Foster (“Monster’s Ball” 2001), who also co-wrote the “script” with Sean Conway. Co-stars include Jason Clarke, Danny Huston, Ahna O’Reilly, Wes Chatham, and Yvonne Strahovsky. “All I See Is You” was a major box office bomb for SC International Pictures, Wing and a Prayer Pictures, LINK Entertainment, and Open Road Films.
