Jurassic World (2015)

My Review

Steven Spielberg reboots the entire Jurassic Park franchise with the new “Jurassic World.” The story has a fully functional dinosaur theme park named Jurassic World some twenty-two years after the disaster of Jurassic Park. Director Colin Trevorrow was focused in his job giving this reboot top-rate production values, great special effects, and non-stop action. He co-wrote the screenplay with Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, and Derek Connolly.

The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Nick Robinson, BD Wong, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Brian Tee, Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Buffet. “Jurassic World” was the second highest grossing film of 2015 for executive producer Steven Spielberg, producer Frank Marshall, Legendary Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, The Kennedy/Marshall Company, and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in Oahu, Hawaii, and Louisiana. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” would be the next in the series to be released in 2018.
