Minions (2015)

My Review

The “Minions” jibber-jabber their way to success in their own motion picture after being consigned to secondary roles in “Despicable Me” (2010) and “Despicable Me 2” (2013). Director Pierre Coffin and screenwriter Brian Lynch have created a 91 minute movie filled with tons of laughter and hilarity for the entire family.

Pierre Coffin heads the voice cast as Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and all Minions; He is a truly creative and talented show biz person! Other voices are provided by Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, Steve Carrell, Katie Mixon, Jennifer Saunders, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Geoffrey Rush as the Narrator.

The Minions lines like “bello” (hello), “poopaye” (goodbye), “sa la ka” (how dare you), and “banana” (banana) help them tickle everyone’s funny bone. “Minions” was the fifth highest grossing movie of 2015 for Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Two sequels follow – “Minions: The Rise of Gru” (2022) and “Minions & Monsters” (2026).
