Spy (2015)

My Review

Melissa McCarthy plays a CIA analyst who ventures out into the world of a field agent in the espionage action-comedy movie “Spy.” The laughs proceed from there, expertly handled by director-screenwriter Paul Feig in what is basically a McCarthy vehicle. Feig previously worked with Melissa in “Bridesmaids” (2011) and “The Heat” (2013).

The cast includes Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Allison Janney, Jude Law, Bobby Cannavale, Will Yun Lee, Ben Falcone, Paul Feig, and 50 Cent as himself. The funny and entertaining “Spy” was a big hit at the box office for Chernin Entertainment, Feigco Entertainment, and 20th Century Fox. It was filmed in Hungary.
