Entourage (2015)

My Review

Fans of the HBO television series should enjoy the theatrical release “Entourage.” It continues the story of the same group of friends and associates of Vincent Chase, who goes over budget on his movie directorial debut and must ask new studio head Ari Gold for more money. Director-screenwriter Doug Ellin keeps up the good production values in the film, which continues the story at the end of the series, which ran on HBO for eight seasons (2004-2011).

The principal cast returned for the movie version, including Adrian Grenier as Vincent, Jeremy Piven as Ari, Kevin Connolly as Eric, Kevin Dillon as Drama, and Jerry Ferrara as Turtle. Co-stars include Debi Mazar, Haley Joel Osment, Ronda Rousey, Alan Dale, Billy Bob Thornton, Nora Dunn, Martin Landau, Judy Greer, Jessica Alba, David Arquette, Tom Brady, Warren Buffet, Gary Busey, Andrew Dice Clay, Common, Mark Wahlberg, Mark Cuban, Kelsey Grammar, David Faustino, Jon Favreau, Armie Hammer, Matt Lauer, Chad Lowe, Piers Morgan, Liam Neeson, Bob Saget, Richard Schiff, David Spade, and George Takei.

“Entourage” was a flop at the box office for producer Mark Wahlberg, Home Box Office, RatPac-Dune Entertainment, Leverage Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in Los Angeles and Miami.
