The Age of Adaline (2015)

My Review

“The Age of Adaline” is a romantic drama film about a 29-year-old woman who stops aging due to an unusual accident. She goes through the decades in this manner avoiding involvements, until she falls in love with someone, whose father recognizes her from years earlier. The heavy drama proceeds from there, well directed by Lee Toland Krieger (“Celeste and Jesse Forever” 2012) from an intriguing screenplay and story by Salvador Paskowitz and J. Mills Goodloe.

The stars of the show include Blake Lively, Harrison Ford, Ellen Burstyn, Michael Huisman, Lynda Boyd, Kathy Baker, Amanda Crew, and Hugh Ross as the Narrator. “The Age of Adaline” made a small profit in theatrical release for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Lakeshore Entertainment, and Lionsgate Films. It was filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
