Get Hard (2015)

My Review

“Get Hard” is a comedy-crime film about a wealthy man who has been sentenced to a prison term for a crime he did not commit. So he asks for help from a local car washer, and the stupid comedy proceeds from there. Director Etan Cohen (“Men in Black 3” 2012) did a horrible job at the helm of this stupid film. It contains nothing but low-brow comedy, dirty jokes, racial slurs, and sexual innuendo. Cohen co-wrote the script with Jay Martel and Ian Roberts.

The cast includes Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, Tip Harris, Craig T. Nelson, Allison Brie, Matt Walsh, and Jimmy Fallon. The unwatchable “Get Hard” did have some success at the box office for producer Will Ferrell, RatPac-Dune Entertainment, Gary Sanchez Productions, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in New Orleans and Los Angeles.
