Eraser (1996)

My Review

“Eraser” is the typical Arnold Schwarzeneggar picture: Loads of action sequences covering up a plot filled with holes which still works as watchable entertainment. Arnold plays a marshal working for a government agency that “erases” high profile witnesses by faking their death. Director Chuck Russell (“The Mask”1994) and screenwriters Tony Puryear and Walon Green have a winner on their hands that was successful at the box office for Kopelson Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Good performances from co-stars Vanessa Williams, James Caan, James Coburn, Robert Pasterelli, James Cromwell, Danny Nucci, Andy Romano, Joe Viterelli, Olek Krupa, Gerry Becker, Michael Papajohn, Mark Rolston, and Roma Maffia. It was filmed on location in New York City and on sound stages at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.
