A Tale of Two Guns (2022)

My Review

“A Tale of Two Guns” tells the story of a bounty hunter searching across the Arizona Territory for the last surviving member of an outlaw gang. Director-screenwriter Justin Lee put together this western with great scenery, sets, and costumes, but is short on storyline and action sequences. There are long periods of boring dialogue that put the kibosh on the traditional western action-adventure feel of the film.

The cast includes capable performers like Tom Berenger, Casper Van Dien, Ed Morrone, Judd Nelson, Danny Trejo, Jeff Fahey, Dendrie Taylor, Edward Finlay, Griff Furst, Jennifer Wenger, and Jake Busey in an uncredited part. The barely watchable “A Tale of Two Guns” had limited release in theaters and therefore did not make much money for producer Justin Lee, Koenig Pictures, Charach Productions, Mini Nation Pictures, and Quiet on Set Productions.
