Chaos (2005)

My Review

“Chaos” is a crime action thriller movie telling the story of a computer expert who plants a computer virus that will drain a bank of all account balances. The police work against time before the virus causes extreme chaos. Director-screenwriter Tony Giglio (“In Enemy Hands” 2004) put together a film with loads of action sequences, including explosions and car chase scenes, but suffers from poor writing and plot contradictions. However, the movie does entertain and keep viewers occupied due to the aforementioned action.

The cast includes Jason Statham, Ryan Phillippe, Wesley Snipes, Henry Czerny, Justine Waddell, Nicholas Lea, Keegan Connor Tracy, Jessica Steen, John Cassini, and Damon Johnson. The somewhat watchable “Chaos” was not successful at the box office due to very limited release in 2005, from Mobius International, Epsilon Motion Pictures, Capitol Films, and Lionsgate Films. It was distributed direct-to-DVD in 2008.
