My Review

“Arrowhead” is a Western drama about a U. S. Army scout’s suspicions of the peace overtures by the Apache Indians. He was ignored by his superiors until an Army detachment is ambushed and their colonel killed. Director-screenwriter Charles Marquis Warren put together a respectable motion picture with good writing, good acting, just good all around.

The talented cast includes Charlton Heston, Jack Palance, Katy Jurado, Brian Keith, Milburn Stone, Frank DeKova, Robert J. Wilkie, Mary Sinclair, John Pickard, Richard Shannon, and Lewis Martin. The watchable horse opera “Arrowhead” was filmed in Technicolor by producer Nat Holt and the talented folks at Paramount Pictures.
