Liam Neeson plays a government agent who uncovers a plot which could destroy America in “Blacklight.” Director Mark Williams (“Honest Thief” 2020) put together an action film with poor production values, a thin storyline, and bad writing by screenwriters Nick May and Mark Williams. Only the charismatic presence of Neeson makes this film at all entertaining.
Co-stars include Aidan Quinn, Claire van der Boom, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Taylor John Smith, and Caroline Brazier as The Boss. The marginally watchable “Blacklight” was a box office bomb for Zero Gravity Management, Footloose Productions, Film Victoria, Screen Australia, and Briarcliff Entertainment.
