My Review
Director Sam Raimi (“The Quick and the Dead” 1995) has outdone himself with the ambitious project “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” This 28th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has Dr. Stephen Strange being chased across several universes, with Raimi keeping the storyline well organized and easy to follow for viewers of this two hour-plus film. There is good writing by Michael Waldron, outstanding cinematography by John Mathieson, and a marvelous music score by Danny Elfman.
The talented Benedict Cumberbatch does not disappoint here in his sixth big screen appearance as Doctor Strange. The cast also includes Elizabeth Olson, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Patrick Stewart, John Krasinski, and Anson Mount. The watchable “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” was a huge hit at the box office, the fourth highest grossing picture of the year, for Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios. It was filmed in London, England, UK.
