The film has a messy and disorganized plot and badly conceived characters.
The talented cast is clearly over-qualified for this mediocre crime drama. The actors include David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, Thandiwe Newton, Sharlto Copley, Alan Ruck, Harry Tredaway, Hernan Mendoza, Yul Vasquez, and Bill Maher as himself.
