My Review

“In Good Company” is a comedy-drama movie about a middle-aged advertising executive who must work for a man two decades his junior when the company he works for is sold. This is a witty and delightful film whose laughs come at the expense of corporate culture thanks to a job well done by director-screenwriter Paul Weitz (“About a Boy” 2002), although the material is admittedly formulaic.

The cast is headed by Dennis Quaid and Topher Grace, giving viewers the benefit of their charming personalities. Co-stars include Scarlett Johansson, Marge Helgenberger, Philip Baker Hall, David Paymer, Clark Gregg, Frankie Faison, Ty Burrell, Kevin Chapman, Amy Aquino, Selma Blair, Lauren Tom, Colleen Camp, John Cho, and Malcolm McDowell as the CEO. The watchable “In Good Company” was popular at the box office for producers Paul Weitz and Chris Weitz and Universal Pictures.
