My Review

“10 Cloverfield Lane” is a science fiction thriller movie about three people confined in an underground bunker during a reported alien attack on the earth. Dan Trachtenberg did well in his directorial debut, with a solid screenplay by Damien Chazelle, Josh Campbell, and Matt Stuecken.

Actors John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and John Gallagher bring their diverse personas to this engrossing and tense drama. “10 Cloverfield Lane” was a big hit in theatrical release for producer J. J. Abrams and Paramount Pictures. This is a sequel to “Cloverfield” (2008), with a second sequel being “The Cloverfield Paradox” (2018). A fourth in the “Cloverfield” franchise is currently in development.
