A Quiet Place (2018)

My Review

“A Quiet Place” is a horror science fiction movie about a family trying to survive against blind alien monsters that hunt by sound. It follows their quiet daily life which includes an expectant baby and discovery of the monster’s weak spot. Director John Krasinski did an excellent job with this film not only with directing but also starring in a lead role. He even co-wrote the screenplay with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.

The cast includes John Krasinski and Emily Blunt (Mrs. John Krasinski) as the daddy and mummy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Cade Woodward play the three children, and Leon Russom as a man in the woods. The watchable and suspense-filled “A Quiet Place” was a massive hit at the box office for producer Michael Bay, Platinum Dunes, Sunday Night Productions, and Paramount Pictures. It was filmed in Dutchess, Herkimer, and Ulster Counties in Upstate New York.
