A Quiet Place: Day One (2024)

My Review

“A Quiet Place: Day One” tells the story of New York City being invaded by aliens and how a woman and other survivors try to find a way to safety. The soon learn that they must maintain absolute silence as the creatures are blind but are drawn to the slightest sound. Director-screenwriter Michael Sarnoski (“Pig” 2021) does an outstanding job of keeping this third film in the series as highly suspenseful and dramatic as the first two (“A Quiet Place” 2018 and “A Quiet Place Part Two” 2020). He developed the story with John Krasinski, director of the originals.

The cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou, Alex Wolff, Elaine Umuhire, and Ronnie Le Drew. The watchable movie “A Quiet Place: Day One” was very popular at the box office for producers John Krasinski and Michael Bay, Platinum Dunes, Sunday Night Productions, and Paramount Pictures.
