A Working Man (2025)

My Review

“A Working Man” is an action-adventure movie where Jason Stratham plays a retired Royal Marine Commando (from the U. K.) now working as a construction supervisor in Chicago. When his employer’s daughter is kidnapped by the Russian Mafia, he takes matters in his own hands to free her. The non-stop action proceeds from there, well-directed by David Ayer, who wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone.

Jason Stratham is the star of the show and carries the film in what is basically a vehicle for him and a showcase for his talents. Co-stars include Michael Pena, Arianna Rivas, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Maximilian Osinsky, Cokey Falcow, David Harbour, Neomi Gonzalez, Eve Mauro, and Emmet J. Scanlan as Viper.

The watchable “A Working Man” has done very well in theatrical release for producers Jason Stratham and Sylvester Stallone, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Black Bear Pictures, Balboa Productions, Punch Palace Productions, Cedar Park Entertainment, Fifth Season, CAT5, Eastern Film Investments, and Amazon MGM Studios.
