America Is Sinking (2023)

My Review

No, “America Is Sinking” is not a movie about the current U. S. Presidential election, but is a modern-day B-science fiction film about melting glaciers that cause earthquakes and tidal waves threatening to sink North America. Director Mario N. Bonassin put together a film that has surprisingly good production values for a low budget film. The special effects are not bad and actors deliver acceptable performances.

The cast includes Michael Pare, Johnny Pacar, Lindsey Marie Wilson, Paul Logan, Mindy Montavon, Lisa Cole, Chelsea Gilson, Maye Harris, Jamal King, Stephen Wesley Green, Andrew Rogers, and Vince Duvall. The watchable “America Is Sinking” is a production of The Asylum and Acme Holding Company, a film that was released directly to video and DVD and is available on most streaming services.
