My Review

“Angel Has Fallen” is an action thriller about a Secret Service agent who is blamed for an assassination attempt on the U. S. President. Director Ric Roman Waugh (“Snitch” 2013) put together an exciting film with good production values, energetic performances, and good writing. He co-wrote the screenplay with Robert Mark Kamen and Matt Cook. This is the third in a series following “Olympus Has Fallen” (2013) and “London Has Fallen” (2016).

The cast includes Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Nick Nolte, Danny Huston, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, and Lance Reddick as the Secret Service director. The watchable “Angel Has Fallen” was popular at the box office for Millennium Media and Lionsgate Films. It was filmed in England and Bulgaria.
