My Review

“Any Which Way You Can” is the continuing story of Clint Eastwood’s trucker-fighter character getting into trouble when he decides to come out of retirement. Director Buddy Van Horn kept this sequel’s story in line with the original “Every Which Way But Loose” (1978) with help from screenwriters Stanford Sherman and Jeremy Joe Kronsberg.

Clint Eastwood’s co-stars include Sandra Locke, Harry Guardino, Ruth Gordon, Geoffrey Lewis, Barry Corbin, George Murdock, Anne Ramsey, Logan Ramsey, Jim Stafford, William Smith, James Gammon, John Quade, and Al Ruscio. The watchable “Any Which Way You Can” was the fifth highest grossing film of 1980 for The Malpaso Company and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was shot on location in Wyoming and California.
