Collide (2016)

My Review

“Collide” is an action film telling the story of young American working in Germany who agrees to hijack a shipment of drugs for his old boss in exchange for money to pay for his girl friend’s medical treatment. Director Eran Creevy put together an exciting movie with a fast-moving storyline and an even pace throughout the 99 minute running time. He co-wrote the excellent screenplay with F. Scott Frazier.

The cast includes Nicholas Hoult in the lead role, Felicity Jones as the girl friend, Ben Kingsley as the ex-boss, Anthony Hopkins as Germany’s biggest drug kingpin, Marwan Kenzari as the best friend, and Clemens Schick as Hopkin’s goon. The watchable “Collide” was a flop at the box office for IM Global, Sycamore Pictures, DMG Entertainment, Silver Pictures, and Open Road Films. It was filmed in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
