Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)

My Review

“Dora and the Lost City of Gold” is an adventure movie about a teenage girl and her friends who must embark on a rescue mission to Peru to find her lost parents. This remake of the animated televisions series “Dora the Explorer” has uneven directing by James Bobin and mediocre writing by Nicholas Stoller and Matthew Robinson.

The cast includes Isabella Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Pena, Eva Longoria, Danny Trejo, Jeff Wahlberg, Temuera Morrison, and Benicio del Toro. “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” was a moderate success at the box office for Nickelodeon Movies, Walden Media, and Paramount Pictures. It was filmed in Queensland, Australia.
