My Review

Bing Crosby stars in “Double or Nothing,” a musical comedy in which he is one of four people who is given a chance to win millions of dollars from a deceased millionaire’s estate. Theodore Reed did a good job of directing a large cast and turning a complex plot into a fun motion picture.

The cast includes Bing Crosby, Martha Raye, Andy Devine, Mary Carlisle, William Frawley, Fay Holden, Benny Baker, Samuel S. Hinds, and Willilam Henry. “Double or Nothing” was a modest box office success for Paramount Pictures, filmed in Hollywood. Two hit songs came out of this picture for Bing – “The Moon Got in My Eyes” and “It’s the Natural Thing to Do.”
