My Review

“F9” is an action film, which is the ninth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, tells the story of Dominic and his team trying to stop his estranged brother from activating a weapons program which would destroy the world. Director Justin Lin (“Star Trek Beyond” 2016) made sure that the patented chase scenes remained the star of the show, and even came up with some new stunts and action which wowed audiences everywhere. Lin co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Casey.

The cast is headed by Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, his usual charismatic self. Co-stars include Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, Charlize Theron, Lucas Black, Don Omar, Shea Whigham, Gal Gadot, and Jason Statham.

The watchable “F9” was a huge hit with the general public, the fifth highest grossing film of 2021, from producers Vin Diesel and Justin Lin, One Race Films, Original Film, Perfect Storm Entertainment, Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in Scotland, England, Thailand, Republic of Georgia, and Los Angeles.
