My Review

“Fight or Flight” is a comedy-action movie about a mercenary following a high-value asset on an international flight, with both soon finding out that the plane is filled with assassins assigned to kill them both. The drama, and the non-stop martial arts action, proceeds from there, capably directed by James Madigan and written by Brooks McLaren and D. J. Cotrona.

The continual combat sequences and a thin storyline surprisingly does not wear out its welcome due to balanced direction and a convincing performance by lead actor Josh Hartnett. Co-stars include Katie Sackhoff, Charithra Chandran, Julian Kostov, Marko Zaror, JuJu Chan Szeto, and Sarah Lam. The watchable (though not exactly Shakespeare) “Fight or Flight” was released on streaming services and had a limited run in theaters for Asbury Park Productions, Sky Cinema, and Vertical. It was filmed in Budapest, Hungary.
