Furious 7 (2015)

My Review

Kurt Russell plays Mr. Nobody, a secret government spy who recruits Dominic Toretto and company to help find a sophisticated tracking devise called God’s Eye in “Furious 7.” Director James Wan (“Aquaman” 2018) and screenwriter Chris Morgan keep up the high quality production values and numerous chase scenes in this seventh movie of the “Fast and Furious” franchise. The previous episodes were released in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2013.

The cast includes Vin Diesel as Dominic, Paul Walker as Brian O’Connor, Kurt Russell as Mr. Nobody, Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Chris Bridges as Parker, Jordan Brewster as Mia Toretto, Djimon Hounsou as Mose, Ronda Rousey as Kara, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Lucas Black as Sean, Gal Gadot as Gisele, and Luke Evans as Owen Shaw.

“Furious 7” was the third highest grossing film of 2015 for producer Vin Diesel, Original Film, One Race Films, MRC, China Film Co. Ltd., and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in Dominican Republic, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Colorado, Georgia, and various locations in California. “The Fate of the Furious” is the next sequel to be released in 2017.
